Why was Jesus always picking a fight with the Pharisees about the Sabbath? What did his inaugeral sermon "the spirit of the living God is upon me..." have to do with the Sabbath Economics. In this class we unpack manna and sabbath laws and reveal how these became the fundemental principles of God's prescribed economy. Principles that protected God's people form becoming Empire.
